How much does a Trans Uretheral Resection of the Prostate (TURP) procedure cost?

My dad will going for the TURP procedure shortly here in the USA. He has no insurance and will be taking care of the costs personally.
Does anyone have an idea of the average cost breakdown: doctors charge for the procedure, facility charge, anesthesia charge etc

  1. If you live in the U.S., most cities have county hospitals that allow you to apply for free/discounted medical care if you are low income with no insurance. I hope he gets better soon.
